Application
How is the application of nano barium sulfate in masterbatch products?
Use nano barium sulfate to replace different proportions of red, yellow, green, and blue pigments in polyolefin masterbatches. Use a colorimeter to measure the tinting strength, reflectance and transmittance of films and sample products made from masterbatches to study its effect on the color performance of masterbatch. The results show that the substitution amount of nano-barium sulfate in different color pigments is different. In general, the average replacement amount can reach about 20%, which not only affect the coloring of the product, but also reduces the production cost.
Use three kinds of ultra-fine BaS04 to replace different proportions of red pigments in polyolefin masterbatches. Use a microscope to observe the dispersion of the pigments; use a colorimeter to measure the hiding power and coloration of the films and sample products made from the masterbatches to study its influence on the color performance of masterbatch. The results show that under the premise of not changing the color performance of the colored products, ultra-fine barium sulfate can replace part of the pigments, and the coloring effect of plastic products will not decrease, but even improve.
The application of nano-barium sulfate to replace part of titanium dioxide in polyolefin white masterbatch was studied, and study its effect on the color performance of white masterbatch. Use the photoelectric spectrophotometer and the spectrophotometer to measure the hiding power and whiteness of the film and sample products made with white masterbatch, and use the image analyzer to measure the dispersion of the pigment. The results show that when nano BaS04 replaces 20% of Ti02 pigment, the hiding power of the product is greatly improved, and the whiteness is increased by 2.75% at the maximum while the other properties of the white masterbatch remain basically unchanged. For different crystalline TiO2 pigments, the addition of nano-barium sulfate improves the hiding power and whiteness of the product.
Use nano barium sulfate and nano calcium carbonate to replace different proportions of blue pigments in polyolefin masterbatches. Measure the coloring power and hiding power of the films and templates made of masterbatches by a colorimeter, and study the color contrast between the two on the effect of masterbatch color performance. The results show that nano-calcium carbonate and nano-barium sulfate can replace part of the pigments, the coloring effect of plastic products will not decrease, but even improve, and the dispersibility of the system is also improved. Nano-barium sulfate performs better than nano calcium carbonate in the application polyolefin masterbatch .
