Change, for Better Service
The year 2026 has already passed its halfway mark. Recently, we held our semi-annual business review and all‑staff meeting—looking back on the road we have traveled over the past six months, and also clarifying the way forward.
The market is changing, and the challenges are real.
The barium sulfate industry has not been calm in the first half of the year. Barite ore remains in tight supply, raw material costs keep climbing, and since the second quarter of 2026, prices for the entire barium sulfate product line have continued to rise. Some downstream customers have cut budgets or suspended operations, putting pressure on commodity prices, while corporate profit margins are narrowing.
To be frank, the broader environment is indeed tough. But it is precisely because of these difficulties that a company’s resilience and tenacity are truly tested.
Our first‑half results are solidly delivered.
Facing the dual pressures of rising raw material costs and market volatility, we did not back down. The business system we upgraded at the beginning of the year is now fully operational, enabling more precise data management. Internal training has been carried out continuously, and the professional capabilities of our team are steadily improving.
More importantly, our customers are still with us, and their trust remains. Every on‑time delivery and every timely response to an issue is a concrete demonstration of our commitment to “serving our customers.” In the first half of the year, we upheld one bottom line: not letting a single customer’s trust go unanswered.
Recognition—honoring every dedicated individual.
At this meeting, we recognized a number of colleagues who have quietly contributed to their posts. You are the company’s most valuable asset. No matter how tough the market gets, with you on board, we have the confidence to move forward.
Our commitment for the second half: to take service to the next level.
Looking ahead to the second half, we are determined to focus on two things:
First, make our service response the fastest possible. The market may change, but our attitude toward customers must not. Every order and every delivery must stand the test of scrutiny.
Second, embed a sense of urgency into our daily work. All team members must maintain a strong sense of urgency at all times—no complacency, no slackening. We will improve work efficiency, face industry changes squarely, and win customers through professionalism and speed.
Some say that 2026 is a year full of uncertainty.
But we firmly believe: the harder the times, the more service quality is tested; and the more the market reshuffles, the more opportunities emerge for outstanding companies to stand out.
We thank every customer for their trust and entrustment, and every colleague for their dedication and hard work.
In the second half of the year, together, we will do even better.
—— Xintu Team, with respect
