Its needle-like crystal structure makes it a good flattening agent and can enhance the leveling of the coating. It can be used as an intensifier in self-cleaning coatings; due to its low oil absorption and high filling capacity, Therefore, the cost of coatings can be reduced, and it can be used for water-based coatings, primers, intermediate coatings, oil-based coatings, etc.
Precipitated barium sulfate used in powder coatings has the characteristics of high gloss, good leveling, strong weather resistance, and stable chemical properties. It is used as a raw material or filler for paint, ink, plastic, advertising, pigment, cosmetics battery, and as a filler and reinforcement in rubber products, as a filler and weighting agent in polyvinyl chloride resin, printing paper and surface coating agent for art paper, sizing agent for textile industry. It can be used as clarifiers for glass products, which can defoam and increase gloss. It can be used as a protective wall material for anti-radiation. Precipitated barium sulfate is also used in industries such as ceramics, enamels, fragrances and pigments. It is also the raw material for the manufacture of other barium salts & powder coatings, paints, marine primer, ordnance paint, automotive paint, latex paint, interior and exterior wall architectural coatings, can improve the product's light resistance, weather resistance, chemical and electrochemical corrosion resistance and product decoration effects, and enhance the impact strength of the coating.
