Application
What is the difference between precipitated barium sulfate and modified barium sulfate?
Precipitated barium sulfate is produced by chemical precipitation method.
Modified barium sulfate is to achieve the purpose of improving dispersibility or other functional purposes, and is processed by surface modification treatment on the basis of precipitated barium sulfate or barite.
Modified ultrafine precipitated barium sulfate is a product using a new process of precipitation method. Compared with barium sulfate produced by traditional precipitation method, it has higher quality and better performance. Its main characteristics are as follows:
1. Main content: the content of barium sulfate is above 98%, with higher purity and less impurities.
2. Particle size distribution: it has narrow particle size distribution, good dispersibility, and good fluidity. The particle size can be controlled during the production process. The crystal shape of the particles is approximately spherical, and the product has a high smoothness after film formation and weather resistance is better.
3. Product is environmental friendly: due to the limitation of the production process of traditional barium sulfate, odor (sodium sulfide) is easy to appear during use, which affects human health, and this product has no peculiar smell and extremely low heavy metal content. It is a functional product that meets environmental protection requirements. .
